Difference between System copy and System refresh

System Copy is like building a new SAP System with a reference System by either backup-restore/export-import method. In this case we create a new system using reference system.

System refresh is Copy of a reference/existing System data onto the another existing/target system. In this case we overwrite/refresh on existing system only.
